Finding Fallon

Having Peter Fallon in our class as a speaker was a unique opportunity, one which allowed us to reflect on his comments and respond directly to him. I thought it was very interesting how relaxed he seemed. I was expecting someone who was younger and who had more of a forma air about him, Peter was a pleasant surprise. I also thought that the way in which he left the discussion totally open was great because no one felt pressured but it was still free enough to ask. I liked that he was open about his methods and systems of writing like how he has no set place but rather makes notes when something comes to him. I also enjoyed that he said he is most himself when he is writing poetry because that proves that he is happy with his life and has found meaning even if some days at the publishing house are more difficult than others.
